Red D are recruiting a Sous Chef for a five star corporate client in Dublin City Centre.

This Sous Chef role supports the launch of a new dinner service operating Monday to Thursday, with 1pm to 9pm shifts. The position offers 30 hours per week at €19 per hour.

The Sous Chef will report directly to the Head Chef and play a key role in delivering a steady, organised and high-quality service in a premium corporate environment. Strong experience is essential. This is not a training role. It requires someone capable, calm under pressure and confident leading a small team.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will:

• Prepare and oversee food to the highest standards
• Ensure timely production to support smooth dinner service
• Manage stock levels and ensure all ingredients are available for menus
• Contribute to menu planning in line with client expectations
• Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and hygiene standards
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the kitchen team
• Provide coaching and feedback on performance
• Ensure all team members maintain up-to-date Food Hygiene and COSHH training

This Sous Chef role is hands-on and operational. You will be expected to lead from the front while maintaining structure and discipline in the kitchen.
