This role is key to maximising revenue and optimising pricing strategies, aligned with market positioning and guest expectations. The Revenue Manager will use data-driven insights to enhance profitability and work across departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of revenue management experience within the hotel industry.
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret and act on complex data.
- Proficiency in revenue management systems and property management software.
- High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- A commercial mindset and experience in business development.
- Effective leadership skills, adaptable to various situations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise occupancy and pricing.
- Lead the reservations team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking for pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and marketing to create promotions and packages.
- Present revenue forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Oversee distribution strategies and manage day-to-day yield operations.
- Monitor booking trends and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure all systems related to reservations and distribution are up to date and functioning effectively.
