Red D are recruiting a Head Chef for a Michelin Star Restaurant in the Dublin.
This Head Chef role is not about maintaining standards. It’s about taking a Michelin Star Restaurant that is already performing and pushing it further.
You’ll step into a kitchen that is operating at Michelin level. The structure is there, the reputation is established, and expectations are high. What’s needed now is a Head Chef who can take full ownership, steady what needs to be steady, and move the restaurant forward with clarity and intent.
As Head Chef, you are responsible for everything. The food, the team, the standards, the performance of the kitchen. It sits with you.
The Role
- As Head Chef of this Michelin Star Restaurant, you will lead the kitchen day to day while shaping its future direction.
- You will design and deliver menus that reflect the level expected of a Michelin Star Restaurant, while ensuring consistency on every service.
- You will build and lead a strong brigade. Clear standards, strong communication, and no ambiguity around expectations.
- You will take full control of kitchen performance, including labour, GP, waste, and overall efficiency.
- You will drive standards across every section of the kitchen, ensuring that nothing slips and that detail is never compromised.
- You will continue to refine and evolve the offering, making improvements where they matter and keeping the restaurant moving forward.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef operating at Michelin Star level.
- A strong, grounded chef who runs a disciplined and organised kitchen.
- A Head Chef who is comfortable taking full responsibility and making decisions.
- A clear understanding of the commercial side of the kitchen, with the ability to manage costs without compromising standards.
- A leader who can build, develop and hold a team to account.
- Someone with energy, ideas, and the drive to keep improving. This is not a finished role.
