Red D are recruiting a Banqueting Head Chef for a large, high-end four star hotel in Leinster.
This is a senior Banqueting Head Chef role in a busy, well-established hotel known for delivering excellent food at scale. This isn’t standard banqueting. The food here is taken seriously, and it shows.
As Banqueting Head Chef, you’ll have full responsibility for the banqueting kitchen. This is your kitchen. You’ll lead it, organise it, and make sure it delivers consistently at a high level, day in, day out.
You’ll be managing a sizeable team, delivering across weddings, conferences and large events, and making sure the food consistently lives up to the reputation that’s already there.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the banqueting kitchen across weddings, conferences and large-scale events
- Owning the Banqueting Head Chef function from planning through to execution
- Managing and developing the kitchen team, setting clear standards and holding them
- Working closely with senior management on menus and event delivery
- Keeping control of food cost, labour and kitchen performance
- Delivering consistency at volume without letting standards slip
- Maintaining strong hygiene and compliance at all times
What we’re looking for
- An experienced Banqueting Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef stepping up
- Solid hotel background, ideally within four star or above
- Proven experience in high-volume banqueting
- Someone who runs a structured, organised kitchen
- Commercially aware and comfortable managing costs
- A steady leader who can manage pressure and large teams
