Red D are recruiting a Restaurant Manager for a well-regarded hospitality destination in the Newry area.

This Restaurant Manager role takes full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of multiple dining outlets. It’s a hands-on position where standards, consistency and the overall customer experience sit firmly with you.

You’ll be present on the floor, leading the team through service while keeping a close eye on the detail behind the scenes. This Restaurant Manager role suits someone who knows how to run a tight operation, keep standards where they need to be and build a team that delivers every day.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will:

• Oversee the daily operation of all restaurant and dining outlets
• Drive a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all service periods
• Lead, train and develop your team to maintain strong service standards
• Manage staffing levels, rotas and performance on the floor
• Monitor stock, ordering and inventory control
• Take ownership of budgets, costs and overall financial performance
• Work closely with the wider management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Support and implement sustainability practices across the operation

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior food and beverage management role
• Strong background in full-service restaurant operations
• A steady, hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage busy services
• Experience managing costs, budgets and stock control
• Confident communicator who leads from the front
• Organised, practical and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Interest in sustainability and environmentally responsible practices
• Experience in a hotel or high-end hospitality setting would be beneficial
