Red D are recruiting a Director of Operations for a leading Irish Pub & Restaurant Group based in Switzerland.

This Director of Operations role sits over a busy, multi-site hospitality operation that is already performing well. The structure is in place, the teams are strong and the business is stable.

Your role is to keep that level, build on it and drive it forward commercially and operationally.
You’ll be working closely with the owner, who is highly engaged in the business. There is real access, real input and the opportunity to influence how the group continues to develop.

The Role

As Director of Operations, you’ll have full responsibility for the performance of multiple venues.
You’ll be:

• Leading all venues with a clear focus on Food & Beverage delivery
• Maintaining consistency in service, quality and customer experience across every site
• Working directly with venue managers to support performance and standards
• Present on the floor during key trading periods, staying close to the operation
• Managing labour, cost control, stock and overall financial performance
• Developing teams through training, structure and accountability
• Refining systems and processes to keep the operation running smoothly
• Protecting and delivering a genuine Irish pub experience across all venues

What you’ll need

• Proven multi-site experience at senior Operations or Food & Beverage level
• Background in high-volume pub or restaurant environments
• Strong commercial understanding across labour, GP, cost control and reporting
• Experience leading and developing management teams across multiple locations
• Confident, steady approach in a fast-moving environment
• Hands-on leadership style
• Fluent English
• Willingness to learn German. Language training is provided
