Hotel Manager / Deputy General Manager – Five Star Resort, Leinster

Red D are recruiting a Hotel Manager / Deputy General Manager for an award-winning five star resort in Leinster.

This is a senior role in a large, well-established hotel with a strong reputation. You’ll work closely with an experienced General Manager and be heavily involved in how the hotel runs day to day and how it performs.

The Role

As Hotel Manager / Deputy General Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the hotel.

You’ll be across:

• Leading Heads of Department and keeping the operation aligned
• Rooms, food and beverage and banqueting
• Standards and making sure they are consistent
• Costs, payroll and overall performance
• Working with sales and revenue to support business levels
• Running HOD meetings and keeping things moving
• Developing your managers and building strength across the team
• Making decisions and dealing with issues as they arise
• Stepping in for the General Manager when needed

What we’re looking for

• Currently operating at senior manager level within a luxury hotel
• Experience across rooms and food and beverage highly desirable
• Experience in a luxury Irish hotel and knowledge of the Irish market is essential
• Brand experience preferred
• Strong commercial awareness alongside operational experience
• Someone who is ready to move towards a General Manager role
