Red D are recruiting a Deputy General Manager for a leading five-star luxury hotel in the West of Ireland.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a strong hotel operator who knows luxury hospitality inside out and is ready to step into a highly visible senior leadership role.

Working closely with the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager will play a major part in the day-to-day leadership of the hotel, supporting department heads, driving standards across the property and helping shape the overall guest experience.

This role needs somebody who is confident leading from the floor, comfortable managing senior teams and commercially aware without losing sight of what luxury hospitality is really about.

The hotel has built an exceptional reputation and they are looking for a Deputy General Manager who can bring energy, leadership and presence to the operation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the General Manager in the overall leadership of the hotel
• Driving standards and performance across all departments
• Leading and developing senior management teams
• Maintaining a strong operational presence across the property
• Supporting budgets, commercial performance and overall business delivery
• Working closely with Heads of Department to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Helping shape the culture, direction and long-term success of the hotel
• Ensuring standards remain consistently high across every area of the operation

What we’re looking for:

• Senior leadership experience within a luxury or five-star hotel
• Strong all-round hotel operations experience
• A visible, hands-on leadership style
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of hotel performance
• Experience managing large teams within high-end hospitality environments
• Someone with the presence and maturity required for a senior leadership role
