Hotel Manager | Dublin City Centre

Red D are recruiting a Hotel Manager for a busy hospitality operation in Dublin City Centre.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for accommodation, food and beverage, guest services and day-to-day operations. The Hotel Manager will work closely with department heads and senior leadership to ensure high standards across every area of the business while delivering excellent guest experiences, supporting team development and driving commercial performance.

The role will suit an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, leading from the front and working closely with teams to create a positive culture and a well-run operation.

The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day operation across accommodation, food and beverage, events and guest services
• Lead and support department heads and supervisors across all operational areas
• Ensure consistently high standards of service, presentation and guest satisfaction
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing on business initiatives and promotional activity
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities
• Monitor payroll, labour costs and purchasing controls
• Drive operational efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on the guest experience
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and team development initiatives
• Support and deliver operational improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, HACCP and employment legislation
• Oversee maintenance planning and property compliance requirements
• Act as a visible and approachable leader for both guests and colleagues

The Person

• Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager or similar senior hospitality leadership role
• Strong understanding of hotel operations including rooms, food and beverage and guest services
• Experience leading multiple departments and managing large teams
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, costs and performance
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Organised, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on management style with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
