Red D are recruiting an Assistant Accommodation Manager for a leading five-star luxury resort.

Reporting to the Director of Accommodation, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accommodation Manager, Assistant Executive Accommodation Manager, Accommodation Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager looking to progress their career in a luxury hospitality environment.

Working closely with the Director of Accommodation, you’ll play a key role in leading the accommodation team, maintaining exceptional standards across guest bedrooms, private residences, public areas and clubhouses, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.

The successful Assistant Accommodation Manager will be highly organised, hands-on and passionate about delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Accommodation in the day-to-day management of the Accommodation Department
  • Monitor accommodation operations to ensure guest rooms, private properties, public areas and clubhouses are maintained to the highest standards
  • Allocate and oversee daily duties to ensure all areas are serviced efficiently and consistently
  • Inspect serviced rooms and public areas daily to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Lead, motivate and support the accommodation team to deliver exceptional results
  • Build strong working relationships with all departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Assist with purchasing, stock control and reordering of housekeeping supplies
  • Support the recruitment, induction and training of new team members
  • Ensure all health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Handle guest requests efficiently and professionally
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and follow through to completion
  • Assist with Time & Attendance administration when required
  • Monitor key control and lost property procedures
  • Promote a positive and professional working environment at all times
  • Participate fully in ongoing training and development programmes

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Accommodation Manager, Assistant Executive Accommodation Manager or similar accommodation leadership role
  • Experience within a five-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to lead and motivate accommodation teams
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • A positive, hands-on management style
