Red D are recruiting a Bar Manager for a leading hospitality destination in County Meath.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bar Manager, Senior Bar Manager or Beverage Manager to take ownership of multiple bar operations within a busy and quality-focused hospitality business.
The Bar Manager will oversee a cocktail bar, function bars and a busy brasserie operation, ensuring exceptional service, strong financial performance and consistently high standards across all areas. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire a team, drive sales, develop beverage offerings and create memorable customer experiences.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, Events team and kitchen brigade, the Bar Manager will play a key role in the continued success of the food and beverage operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Overseeing the daily operation of the cocktail bar, function bars and brasserie bar service
• Leading, motivating and developing the bar team to deliver excellent customer service
• Recruiting, training and mentoring bartenders and bar staff
• Developing and maintaining beverage and cocktail menus in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef
• Driving sales and implementing initiatives to grow revenue across all bar operations
• Managing stock control, ordering and inventory to maximise profitability and minimise waste
• Keeping up to date with beverage trends, new products and cocktail developments
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Developing and maintaining efficient operating procedures and service standards
• Managing customer feedback, enquiries and complaints professionally and effectively
• Working closely with the Events team to deliver seamless bar service for weddings, conferences and special events
• Collaborating with the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure a consistent customer experience
• Delivering regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and service standards
• Monitoring sales performance and preparing operational reports
• Contributing to wider business planning and Food & Beverage initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• Previous management experience within a busy bar or beverage operation
• Experience within a hotel, hospitality venue or premium food and beverage environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, mixology and current beverage trends
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
• A strong customer service focus and commitment to high standards
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Experience managing stock control and beverage costs
• Good understanding of licensing legislation and health and safety requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods as required
What’s on Offer
• Salary €50,000 to €55,000
