Red D are recruiting an Executive Accommodation Manager for a leading five-star hotel in Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Accommodation Manager, Director of Accommodation, Accommodation Manager, Executive Housekeeper or Head Housekeeper to join one of Ireland’s most respected luxury hotels.
The Executive Accommodation Manager will lead a large accommodation team and take full responsibility for the housekeeping operation, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort throughout the property. This role also offers significant involvement in departmental projects, refurbishments and continuous improvement initiatives, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining operational leadership with project management.
Working closely with the Hotel Manager and General Manager, the Executive Accommodation Manager will play an important role in maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence while supporting wider commercial and operational objectives. This position will also appeal to candidates currently operating at Director of Accommodation level or those looking to take that next step in their career.
LQA and Forbes service experience would be a distinct advantage.
The Role
- Lead, motivate and develop the accommodation and housekeeping team
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail across all guest and public areas
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the accommodation department
- Drive guest satisfaction through consistent service delivery and quality standards
- Manage accommodation-related projects, refurbishments and operational improvements
- Work closely with People & Culture to ensure effective workforce planning and labour cost control
- Support room revenue performance by maintaining exceptional product standards and guest satisfaction levels
- Contribute to annual budgeting and ongoing cost management
- Maintain luxury hospitality standards throughout the hotel
- Champion continuous improvement and service excellence across the department
The Person
- Previous experience as an Executive Accommodation Manager, Director of Accommodation, Accommodation Manager, Executive Housekeeper or Head Housekeeper within a luxury or five-star hotel
- Strong project management experience, ideally involving refurbishments, upgrades or operational change projects
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of departmental budgets
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with LQA and/or Forbes standards would be a significant advantage
