Red D are recruiting an experienced HR Manager for a luxury hotel in Co. Mayo.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about people, culture and creating an exceptional employee experience within a high-quality hospitality environment.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll lead the HR function across the hotel, supporting managers and employees through every stage of the employee journey. From recruitment and onboarding to learning and development, employee engagement and performance management, you’ll play a key role in building a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.

The Role

• Lead and manage the day-to-day HR function across the hotel.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and people initiatives.
• Manage recruitment and selection, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-calibre talent.
• Oversee onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Support managers with employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Champion employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
• Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training programmes.
• Support succession planning and talent development across the business.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Maintain HR systems, employee records and reporting.
• Manage employee benefits and leave administration.
• Build strong relationships across all departments and support a positive, high-performing culture.

About You

• Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ HR experience, ideally within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Proven experience managing employee relations with confidence and professionalism.
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High level of discretion and professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
