Red D are recruiting an experienced Mixologist for a 5 Star Luxury Hotel in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Mixologist to join a high-quality Food & Beverage team and play a key role in creating exceptional beverage experiences for guests.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Bar Manager and Director of Food & Beverage, bringing creativity, technical expertise and a passion for hospitality to every service. This role requires strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits and beverage trends, along with the ability to deliver personalised and memorable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a busy, professional hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Experience & Service

• Create and serve innovative cocktails, mocktails and specialty beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Deliver personalised and engaging service, ensuring guests receive memorable experiences.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, champagnes and cocktail techniques.
• Provide recommendations and guidance to guests based on preferences and occasion.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and stay informed on current beverage trends.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared with precision, creativity and attention to detail.

Menu Development & Creativity

• Support the development of seasonal cocktail menus and signature drinks.
• Create beverage concepts aligned with guest expectations and hotel standards.
• Contribute ideas for promotions, events and beverage experiences.
• Assist in continuously improving the bar offering and guest experience.

Stock Control & Commercial Awareness

• Maintain strong understanding of beverage costing and inventory management.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and maintaining appropriate par levels.
• Ensure responsible handling of all beverage products and equipment.
• Support profitability through effective cost control and efficient service.

Guest Experience & Teamwork

• Work closely with the Bar Manager, Food & Beverage team and wider hotel departments.
• Support a positive team environment focused on service excellence.
• Maintain professional standards of presentation, grooming and conduct.
• Assist colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Deliver consistent standards in line with hotel procedures and expectations.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Mixologist, Bartender or within a high-quality bar environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and beverage preparation.
• Professional mixology certification would be advantageous.
• Experience with beverage costing, stock control and menu development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Professional presentation and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
