Food & Beverage Manager, Galway City

This Food and Beverage Manager role centres on running a busy, quality-led operation while keeping things organised, efficient and guest-focused. You’ll oversee the food and beverage operation across the hotel, ensuring the outlets run smoothly and that guests receive a consistent experience throughout their stay.

The Role

As Food and Beverage Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day food and beverage operation across the hotel, working very closely with the Head Chef to ensure a consistent, high-quality food and beverage offering.

You’ll be expected to:

• Lead the daily food and beverage operation across all outlets
• Work very closely with the Head Chef to maintain strong food and service standards
• Drive strong service standards and customer satisfaction
• Train, develop and support the food and beverage team
• Manage rostering, staffing levels and operational flow
• Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory management
• Monitor costs and support the achievement of departmental targets
• Ensure smooth service during busy trading periods and events
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor and lead by example
• Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure a joined-up operation
• Handle guest feedback professionally and effectively
• Maintain high standards of presentation, service and cleanliness

• Solid experience as a Food and Beverage Manager / Director of F&B
• Strong team leadership and people development skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine interest in delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences
