Red D are recruiting a Chef de Rang / Assistant Manager for an award-winning Michelin-starred restaurant in Co. Clare.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, great food and looking after people. The restaurant has earned an exceptional reputation for its food and guest experience, with service that is warm, knowledgeable and polished without being overly formal.

We’re looking for a Chef de Rang / Assistant Manager who takes real pride in what they do and wants to be part of a small, ambitious team. Michelin-starred or fine-dining experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. What matters is the right attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, attention to detail and a real willingness to learn.

The Role

As Chef de Rang / Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the restaurant management team and play an important part in creating an excellent experience for every guest.

You’ll be hands-on on the restaurant floor, taking responsibility for your section, supporting the wider team and helping service run smoothly from start to finish.

The role will include:

• Delivering warm, polished and knowledgeable service
• Taking responsibility for your section and ensuring guests are exceptionally well looked after
• Developing an excellent knowledge of the menu, ingredients and dishes
• Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Supporting the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of service
• Helping guide and support junior members of the team
• Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation and attention to detail
• Building natural rapport with guests and creating a memorable dining experience

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have experience as a Chef de Rang, Senior Waiter, Restaurant Supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a quality restaurant or hotel environment.

Previous Michelin-starred or fine-dining experience is an advantage, but it isn’t a requirement. We’re equally interested in someone with a strong hospitality background who has the right attitude and wants to develop their career at this level.
