Restaurant Manager | Dublin City Centre

Red D are recruiting a Restaurant Manager for a quality, busy restaurant in Dublin City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager who loves restaurants, enjoys being on the floor and knows how to create the kind of atmosphere and service that keeps guests coming back.

They’re looking for a real people person who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead a strong front of house team and work closely with the kitchen to deliver consistently excellent food, service and hospitality.

The Restaurant Manager will be very much part of the operation. You’ll be visible throughout service, know what’s happening across the floor and make sure both guests and the team are well looked after.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will:

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day restaurant operation
• Lead from the floor and be actively involved throughout service
• Lead, motivate and develop the front of house team
• Create a warm, professional and engaging guest experience
• Maintain consistently high standards of service
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Manage rotas, staffing levels and labour costs
• Recruit, train and develop the restaurant team
• Oversee reservations and effective table management
• Deal confidently and professionally with guest feedback
• Maintain strong controls around stock, costs and restaurant procedures
• Drive revenue and identify opportunities to improve restaurant performance
• Ensure food safety, health and safety and licensing requirements are maintained
• Build a positive working environment and a team that enjoys working together

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced Restaurant Manager or a strong Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to take the next step.

You should have:

• Strong restaurant management experience
• A genuine interest in food, wine and great hospitality
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• The confidence to run a busy restaurant floor
• Strong commercial awareness
• Good knowledge of labour, stock and cost control
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills
• The ability to train, motivate and retain a strong team
• A hands-on management style and genuine enjoyment of restaurant service

€60,000 + Excellent Tips
